This photo clinic will be a Natural Portrait based clinic. The morning and afternoon sessions will be run with horses in the fields in a natural environment.

You do not need to have an expensive DSLR to get the best out of this one day clinic. If you have a “point and shoot” camera, Simon will be able to help you understand the core basics of photography so that you can build on the knowledge to get better pictures.

A combination of practical work and theory/ technique throughout the day. Starting the morning with introductions and a brief but essential walk through of some camera necessities, then outside to the first session of the day. Each individual will get a chance to take some pictures and try out their own ideas ready for the afternoon.

After lunch, we will examine the pictures, and learn from each other with more instructional tips from Simon, then back out to the horses to fine tune the days learning.

Everyone on the day will also be able to choose one of their own pictures to have printed up which will then be posted to them after the day.

This is a very special event in 2011. Join Simon Palmer in the New Forest at foaling time for his Horse Owners Photography Clinic. This day will be spent learning core foundation camera craft in the beautiful setting of the New Forest.

Attendees will spend time out with the ponies of the New Forest and the new born foals at the most exciting time of the year.
